"We had a wonderful stay here. Highly recommended for couples looking for a weekend of privacy and peace.
The bed is soft and comfortable, and there are extra blankets for cold nights. There is clean hot water and electricity, but limited cellphone reception which is great for unwinding.
The kitchen is well kitted out, with a gas stove top and fridge with a freezer. There is also a braai and a fire pit.
Our small Mazda 2 had no trouble on the dirt roads, although if you have low clearance, you will likely need to take the last 100m or so slowly.
You can spend the weekend in the wood-fired hot tub, enjoying the scenery, stargazing and braaiing. The hosts are accommodating and respectful of your privacy; they kindly put together a beautiful cheese board for us (for a very reasonable fee), and otherwise left us to our own devices.
