Stone Cottage is situated on Karoo Droom Farm, nestled right on the side of a mountain with waterfalls leaping down from the peaks above. The cottage offers quiet accommodation in a beautiful setting, and can easily accommodate seven people with three bedrooms. The cottage is surrounded by the Swartberg and Elandsberg mountains.
This comfortable cottage offers all the luxuries from home, in a completely private and rustic farm setting. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Guests can enjoy the fireplace in the lounge and eat meals in the old style dining room. A large outside area, with a mobile braai, gives views across the valley and of Seweweekspoort Peak. Grassed lawns invite children to play outside. A farm dam is only 300m from the house: guests can walk down and have a swim on hotter days, or draw mountain water from the spring a few metres from the driveway.
Electricity is provided via solar, therefor no hair dryers to be used. We make use of gas stove. Wifi & Vodacom cell phone reception.

Do you love camping and being outdoors? Our farm has four wild camping sites that are private and unspoilt with easy access to hiking routes and the simple joys of exploring. If you're lucky you might even find one of the rockpaintings in the kloof.
Enjoy swimming in our lovely farm dam, bird watch, or even visit a nearby farm to milk the cows. For those who want to get their cycle training time in, the road through the poort is inspiring and worthy of a ride. We can highly recommend bringing your telescope for the clear night skies.
Shared bathroom ablutions with hot water showers add a little luxury to your camping experience.

Do you love camping and being outdoors, but would enjoy some more luxury? The luxury tents provide you both, house and camping all in one!
Soon our farm will be equiped with five more of these glamping tents. Jupiter, our main tent is the first, with a queen size bed and two 3/4 bunker beds. Each tent has its own hot tub, bathroom, beds and bedding and all the kitchen requirements you need for your stay. With a deck overlooking the Swartberg mountains and dams, you can enjoy a glass of wine as the evening set upon you and you turn off from the ever day rush. Easy access to hiking routes and the simple joys of exploring. If you're lucky you might even find one of the rockpaintings in the kloof.
